Other form of currencies depends on whether it’s tied to events or other features e.g. Gold is usually earned anywhere and used mainly to upgrade your gear’s level (think of this as ‘refining’ in other games) and can be used to gamble for equipment (don’t bother with this unless you have a surplus of gold to spare). Hilts are basically in-game currencies used to exchange for goods and are usually obtained by completing things on your Exploration part of your Codex, or doing PVP-related things in-game and by reaching certain thresholds for your Combat Rating (basically a gauge of how’d you fair in PVE content). And you've shown us all that because you got caught up in that last little sentence of my original comment, while the primary point went right over your head.Yeah, it takes awhile for you to familiarize yourself with the different aspects of character growth, but they do have different currencies for different thing, to make it feel like f2p players have alternatives in character growth. What you should know is I actually am something of an expert on this subject. The fact that the game already has built in resolution adjustment features for the mobile version, which was ported over to PC, would make things even easier for them. Though my money is on it being an oversight since it's a relatively easy thing to implement. It's also possible they just didn't feel like adding it and decided to wait until a later patch. Adding such a feature within 3 days of them receiving word of it is entirely possible with the resources Blizzard has. And if it is an oversight, it would be fixed via a hotfix, like a bug would be. I have seen situations where certain settings didn't render properly on the front-end due to bad code. But since you brought it up, it could be a bug. I can write the code for a basic display setting window in like 15 minutes in a Unity engine using C# that would provide an option to adjust the resolution, turn on or turn off V-Sync, and switch between Full Screen or Window Mode.Īlso, I never said it was a bug. We're talking about adding a resolution adjustment setting. Have you written a line of code, at all? We're not talking about overhauling the UI.
